Festival artists: anyone care to report on how rehearsals are going for your show? Post your behind-the-scenes sagas in the comments section below.

I'll be sending these out to interested festival artists as soon as I can, but if you can't wait, you can just email your post to me (ronehmke@hotmail.com) and I will add it for you.

Guess I'll take the bait on this myself with an update on the Real Dream Cabaret show: We've been meeting for months in a low-key mode, but naturally things have heated up in the last week or so. Just wrapped up tonight's rehearsal at 1 a.m. and everyone was exhausted. Since we all have day jobs, and those all seem to be in high gear too, it's a crazy couple of weeks right now.
But we're making a lot of progress, and there is no greater thrill than figuring out the solution to a problem (like quick costume changes, or complicated entrances and exits) right on the spot.
Meanwhile, other acts using Squeaky Wheel are starting to rehearse as well, and it's fun to cross paths with folks from other shows. Hope to see what all of them are up to firsthand soon.
